Even though it may not seem like it in your neck of the woods, Spring is right around the corner. And with Spring, comes what I like to call: The Listing Season. Frankly, any time is listing time but Spring in many areas signals hot listing action.
While many agents will take listings, we want more. We want to dominate our markets. And in order to be ready to dominate our markets, we need the listing mindset.
Definition: mind·set or mind-set Noun 1. A fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person’s responses to and interpretations of situations. 2. An inclination or a habit.
This definition, I believe is incorrect. Mindsets are not fixed. You have the ability to change yours and/or create one where no previously existed. In the case of the listing mindset, we can develop ours through five steps, outlined in this video.
